[ Production & Supply of Mortars ]
The new European Standard for Mortar becomes fully effective in January 2005, when the existing British Standard will be withdrawn.
From that date, suppliers of designed masonry mortars, produced in accordance with EN 998-2, are required to hold certification of their factory production control (FPC) system from a Notified Body. In addition, suppliers may find value in marketing all mortars backed by ISO 9001 Certification of their quality management system.
CPC can provide Certification for suppliers of mortar in respect of:
- ISO 9001:2000 and/or
- Factory Production Control for designed masonry mortars.
